Ohhh how great another blog, like there are not already enough out there; screamed a cynic voice in my head. None the less here we are.

I offer the following menu: An appetiser of self-reflection. Raw political hot-takes with a side of unsolicited advice. Luke-warm philosophy for dessert.

All dishes are prepared using my signature fusion style, a wild mix of dark undertones and hopeful brilliancy. Inspired most notably by Franz Kafka, who dealt with the inadequacies of his life by banning them onto paper. Creating more than a simple journal (he also doodled in a spidery style that feels instinctively familiar to me). My personal fascination for shapes and and structure, best encapsulated by the Mandelbrot-Set. Muqi, the grand-master of Asian ink technique, who with a nod of fate also painted food. A technique which I serendipitously integrated into my style because my sister gifted me a brush and ink. Antoni Tapies, because I passed by a series of his works, each individual but connected by a clear artistic signature. Something I aspire to. And quite obviously, the wider European artistic tradition of the still life, who jointly shaped my visual identity. Lastly, Hannah Arendt, with her advocacy for public philosophy, that convinced me to share my work with the world.
